I am Michael.
Hi there!
Thank you for visiting. My name is Michael Eby and for three decades, my home was the classrooms of Cobb County. As a middle and high school teacher with 30 years of experience, I’ve dedicated my life to one thing: advancing the opportunities of my students and bring joy to the families that support them.
While my career began in honors and AP classrooms, my passion has always been rooted in my family. My wife and I are the proud parents of two daughters—one who followed my path into teaching, and another who joined her mother at Delta Air Lines. Today, our greatest joy is our granddaughter.
After years of pursuing photography as a hobby, I decided to blend my technical skills with my deep understanding of student life. I’ve traded the grade book for the lens, but my mission remains the same. Instead of using curriculum to elevate students, I now use portraiture to showcase their personality, potential, and professionalism. I don’t just take a photo; I create a representation of who they are and who they are becoming.
I bring that same patience and perspective to my family photography. Whether we are capturing the quiet bond of a new grandchild or the vibrant energy of a full family reunion, my goal is to create timeless portraits that honor your unique legacy. I don't just want to capture what your family looks like; I want to capture the connection that makes you who you are.
About "Gadabout"
As an timeless word, to "gadabout" has many meanings and connotations. For me, it means "A curious person who travels from place to place seeking creative moments, exciting experiences, and the companionship of others."
